The King’s Jr-Sr High School

In Grades 7-12, The King’s School creates a Christ-centered learning environment which combines high academic expectations with competent and compassionate teaching in a productive smaller group setting.

We offer Regents Diplomas and Advanced Regents Diplomas, earned by passing the required course examinations established by the Board of Regents of the State Education Department of New York. These excellent academics provide a solid and diverse foundation for future educational and vocational pursuits.

In addition to standard academics, we offer a vibrant Drama Program, which presents one major play at Christmas and other shorter items performed at school and in area churches. We also provide three seasons of interscholastic athletics: co-ed soccer, boys’ basketball, girls’ basketball, and girls’ cheerleading. Most school years we also sponsor an overseas missions trip in which students gain intercultural experiences while showing Christ’s love in practical ways. Many of our students enjoy extracurricular activities and benefit from the accessibility that a smaller school affords.

Our primary distinctive is that we not only begin each school day with prayer and Bible instruction, but especially that each class is taught with purposeful integration of biblical principles in all aspects of the academic experience. In addition, required community service assists students in living their faith with practical application.

In these ways, we truly embody our school motto, “Preparing Tomorrow’s Leaders Today,” and currently have alumni functioning as excellent leaders in many disciplines, including technology, medicine, law, education, ministry, among others.
