PSAT this fall for 10th and 11th graders

Dear 10th-12th Grade Parents and Guardians:

Many of your students are planning to attend college after high school graduation.

Part of the recommended college application process involves taking a college preparatory exam such as the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

In preparation for the SAT, we will be offering the PSAT (Practice Scholastic Aptitude Test) for 10th and 11th graders on Wednesday, October 12, here at the King's School. The cost of the exam is $18. Checks made payable to The King's School. Students who have already taken the PSAT may choose to take it again for a possible National Merit Scholarship.

There is also a free online resource called Khan Academy your students can utilize to study for the SAT.

Registration for the actual SAT is online at https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat. The cost is $60.00, and there is a waiver for families who may need this. This test is administered at local public schools on these Saturdays: October 1st, November 5th, December 3th, March 11th 2023 and May 6th 2023.
