Important Notes from our Health Office
Dear Families,
Due to the overwhelming number of COVID cases in our area, we will be accepting COVID home test results, rather than you having to wait for PCR results. For qualifying individuals, isolation can be as short as five days with a return to school in a new surgical mask each day for another five days and lunch in private. PCR results are taking upwards of 5-7 days right now, which means that people may not be receiving results until after their quarantines are over. Therefore, self-administered home tests are acceptable and self-quarantining important.
(If a student/staff member has possible Covid symptoms (without fever) for 48hrs and no positive household contacts, he/she may return to school in a surgical or non-vented N-95 mask with a negative home test. If symptoms worsen or fever (Temp >100) occurs, he/she must be evaluated by a clinician and discuss the case with the nurse’s office prior to return.)
Please communicate with our Health Office at
nurse@kingsschool.info for any COVID positives. Please write the name of the individual on the test, snap a photo, and send it to our nurses.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding masking, please contact our nurses using the email provided above.
We really appreciate all of you and continually pray for protection, health, and peace for your families.
