The King’s School Academics

See all that The King’s School has to offer.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6"

At The King’s School, we are committed to doing everything we can to help you, as families, to nurture your children in a biblical lifestyle. Our world is saturated in a spirit of "relativism," the position that there is no absolute truth. "Truth" in that view is simply what works best for the individual or for our society. These are "situational ethics," with people always "looking out for number one."

Our nation is increasingly controlled by a spirit of secularism that attempts to direct our society without references to God. Failure to acknowledge God in public life has led to unprecedented increases in immorality and corruption that devalue both men and women and our children, born and unborn. Truth has become a matter of taste; morality is based on individual preference.

Christian education is one of the best hopes we have for transforming our society. Jesus tells us, "You are the salt of the earth... You are the light of the world," Matthew 5:13, 14. School is where we learn to think, relate to others, and influence the world. If schooling excludes God’s Word in favor of a secular viewpoint, our Christian witness grows accustomed to silence. Our lamp is "put under a bushel" and salt loses its saltiness and is "no longer good for anything" Matthew 5:13, 15.

Christian schools help students recognize the truth and expose error. Young men and women, who have been shaped in godly homes and Christ-honoring christian schools, are truly the hope for the future of our nation. If we make them strong by Christian training, our children can face a confusing world and claim it for Christ. We at The King’s School are committed to serve the Lord and you in providing quality Christian education.

The King’s School is registered with the New York State Department of Education and has the privilege of offering Regents and Advances Regents diplomas. The Regents diploma is recognized in New York State as evidence of completion of high school graduation requirements, and the Advanced Regents diploma indicates a college preparatory curriculum.

King’s alumni have been extremely successful in their college careers, attending excellent colleges all over the country. These colleges include Gordon College, Nyack College, Roberts Wesleyan College, Oral Roberts University, Washington State University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Niagara University, Princeton University, Cornell University, Messiah College, and several SUNY schools, including Adirondack Community College. Many of our students have graduated from college with highest academic honors.

We believe that a great deal of this success comes not only from excellent academic preparation but also from training in solid critical thinking, producing a disciplined work ethic and a spirit of excellence. Each endeavor is based on the Word of God and bathed in prayer.

The King’s School has served students from over 15 different communities in Warren, Washington, and Saratoga counties. More than 30 different churches have been represented in the student body, and with our new building, we are able to increase enrollment.
